Ashley,
ReplyDeleteI have always found NAEYC to be a host of valuable information and the resources that are offered are many. It was really neat to see that there are more local opportunities to work with this organization - yours GAEYC and the one that I found AAEYC. I think that it would be an opportunity of a lifetime to be able to serve among a group of these professionals and learn/share with them.
The DECAL and GHSA both seem like they would be valuable to work with due to the fact that working with them would also provide great learning and sharing opportunities. These organizations/agencies would be a great place to work and an even greater place to build a community of practice with colleagues that are working as advocates in the early childhood education field.
Thank you for sharing your organizations!
Amy McCoig
Ashley,
ReplyDeleteI was happy to read that GAYC offer journals from NAEYC AND SECA. I have learned valuable information from each of the organizations and would love to be a part of one of them. NAEYC was actually one of the organizations I chose to discuss and share. I am sure that my colleagues are very familiar with the organization but I thought it would be helpful to share their job opportunities. I enjoyed reading your post.
