“The moment I decided to follow
instead of lead, I discovered the joys of becoming part of a small child’s
world.”
-Janet Gonzalez-Mena
"Each of us must come to care about everyone else's
children. We must recognize that the welfare of our children is intimately
linked to the welfare of all other people's children. After all, when one of
our children needs life-saving surgery, some else's child will perform it. If
one of our children is harmed by violence, someone else's child will be
responsible for the violent act. The good life for our own children can be
secured only if a good secured for all other people's children."
- Lilian Katz
“Every day I go to work, I look
forward to it because I know the services I provide for children is to their
benefit.”
-Raymond Hernandez
“It’s not about you. You have to
take your ego out and think about what’s best for the child.”
-Renatta M. Cooper
Hello Ashley, I agree with the quote from Raymond Hernandez because when I go to work I say the same thing. Sometimes I don't like my job but I know I am their role model so that's what keep me moving.
ReplyDeleteHey Ashley!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed each of your quotes! I really enjoyed the quote from Renatta Cooper the most because it is not about us! Everything we do and learn is for the children and to help them develop properly. As we all begin to work on being professionals in the early childhood field, being selfish is never an option. We have to do what's best for our future leaders who are the children! They are the future! Great quotes Ashley and by the way, I love the creativity on your blog! cool colors:)
