I love how it goes into details of the ages and stages, developmental chart, setting limits, early literacy, etc. It also shows how to help children build their physical skills. It is important to learn how children develop and what we as professionals can do to help them develop properly and grow. Great resource! very helpful!
Thanks for the resources. I love scholastic already but never realized they had so much for early childhood. I will be using this in the near future. I also liked everything I learned about child development. I think its very important to know their stages and skills. In addition, I liked how they discussed early literacy. I think it's very important for children to be read to even as a baby.
I liked Five Numbers to Remember about Early Childhood Development. These are the facts that really impressed me when I took an infant mental health class as an undergrad. I really like how Harvard put all these numbers in one place. This gives people a lot of information in a very short time and really helps emphasize the importance of a child's early years.
